Lesson 1 of 6 · Welcome

Welcome & Learning Objectives

Ope, lorem ipsum dolor sit amet — just gonna sneak right past ya to grab the pry bar real quick. Uff da, consectetur hotdish adipiscing elit, you betcha the joists came up cleaner than a fresh-Zamboni'd sheet of ice. Cold enough for ya?

By the end of this module you'll be able to…
  • Tell a hawk from a handsaw — and reclaimed oak from a hotdish, you betcha.
  • Scooch a load-bearing "ope" right past your neighbor without so much as an uff da.
  • Sort the good salvage from the real-good salvage, dontcha know.

Duis aute irure salvage in reprehenderit, and by golly we hauled the whole load down to the Cities in the back of the Silverado. 'Scuse me, reaching right past ya for the cordless there. Real good stuff, this old-growth pine — different, but not so bad, all things considered.

Lesson 2 of 6 · Core content

Deconstruction vs. Demolition

You betcha, sed do eiusmod tempor up nort by the cabin, incididunt ut labore whilst the Twins dropped another one in extra innings. Grab a hotdish, borrow a cup of tenpenny nails off the neighbor, and we'll get 'er done before the lake freezes over.

Why we unbuild instead of knock down

Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation lutefisk laboris nisi ut aliquip. Squeaky door? That's a bran-muffin situation right there, dontcha know. We'll get it sorted after the potluck, once everyone's had their fill of tater-tot hotdish and a little lemon bar.

Where the good material hides

Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident — ope, 'scuse me, reaching right past ya for the flat bar. Sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit, and by golly the whole crew agreed it was colder than a well-digger's belt buckle out there on the jobsite.

Lesson 3 of 6 · See it in action

See It in Action

Clip 2 · more up-nort deconstruction know-how (placeholder footage)

Lorem ipsum, dontcha know, the salvage yard smelled like sawdust and second chances. Grab your choppers and a thermos of pop — we're headed up the Range where the good timber's been waiting patient as a Sunday sermon.

Now that's different, but not so bad. Nemo enim ipsam voluptatem up at the lake, quia voluptas sit aspernatur, and we stacked the reclaimed clapboard neater than church-basement folding chairs.

Lesson 4 of 6 · Knowledge check

Knowledge Check

Ope — pass this to earn your spot at the hands-on week. Quiz text is placeholder, you betcha, but the pass-to-advance gating is real.

Lesson 5 of 6 · Resources

Job Aid & Resources

Consequatur, vel illum qui dolorem — keep this one in the glovebox next to the ice scraper. Quis autem vel eum iure, you betcha, a real handy checklist for when the fingers get too cold to think.
